The 421 Broome Street building where actor Heath Ledger died will go
into foreclosure “any day now,” according to attorney Kent Karlson, who
represents artist Junia Neiva, a minority stakeholder in the building.

occupied, but the other three floors, including the one where Ledger’s apartment was located, are not.
Neiva alleged, according to court documents, that Donald Burns, the
majority stakeholder of the building, has kept it empty so he can
foreclose on it. Neiva said she will appeal after the foreclosure goes
through. [more]
