Families from New Yorkers and across the Northeast will march on Freddie Mac’s regional New York offices and demand that President Obama take immediate steps to reform the taxpayer-owned mortgage giants responsible for more foreclosures and evictions than any other bank. The march will be lead by families from New York and across the Northeast who have lost their homes or are at risk of losing their homes because of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac’s draconian foreclosure policies. Starts at Bryant Park (42nd Street at 6th Ave) and marches to Freddie Mac’s regional office (122 East 42nd Street, between Lexington and Park Ave). Wednesday September 12, 2012. 1 – 2 p.m.
