Residential brokerage Charles Rutenberg has hired 13 new agents from firms including Halstead Property, the Corcoran Group, Douglas Elliman and Citi Habitats. The agents are: Ellen Burdette, Laura Lund Burdette, Eileen Shannon Smith, K. Maria Brooks, Bobbi Schiavone, Stella Siomkos, Wilfried Jorand, Janice Goodhue, Jane Yu, Christopher Sileo, Fidias Desir, Salman Qureshi and Jessica Rivas.

Cynthia Graffeo and Emily Astrof-Bernstein are taking on executive positions on Argo Real Estate’s property management team. Graffeo will be director of client relations. Astrof-Bernstein, who was previously a property manager at Rose Associates, comes on as director of management operations.

Brown Harris Stevens hired Robert Nelson as senior managing director of its Southampton, Westhampton Beach and Sag Harbor offices. Nelson will also oversee the firm’s seven Hamptons and North Fork offices.

Twin brothers Jeffrey Nissani and Erik Nissani joined Eastern Consolidated as senior directors in the investment sales division. The Nissanis were previously at Marcus & Millichap.

Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group hired Heather Wyse as sales director of 101 Wall. Wyse has worked on sales at the Sutton and 1110 Park Avenue.

Lanterra Properties hired Jim Brady as vice president of property management. Brady has held numerous senior leadership roles, including at Lincoln Property and Summit Properties.

Marcus & Millichap hired John Crafton as an investment sales broker. Crafton will specialize in shopping centers and single-tenant properties, with a focus on the Bronx. He was previously at JCX Realty and Besen & Associates.

Natasha Brown joined SL Green’s leasing group as a vice president. Brown will oversee leasing of a 10-building portfolio that includes 1 Madison Avenue, 1515 Broadway and 485 Lexington Avenue. She was previously at Jones Lang LaSalle.

Carl Hum joined the Real Estate Board of New York as senior vice president for management services and government affairs. Hum will serve as the lead advocate on a broad portfolio of policy issues, including building codes and regulations.

Irongate Management hired Ashley Monroe as senior vice president of operations. Monroe will be involved in strategic planning as Irongate expands its portfolio of multifamily properties.

Susan Kahaner and Jennifer Ogden joined Avison Young’s tenant rep team. Ariel Salama joined WY Hospitality as a chief financial officer. Kontor, a New York-based startup for commercial design, hired Matthew Smith and Robert Moore ahead of the company’s November launch.
