Charlize Theron sells Hollywood penthouse for $1 million less than she paid
Charlize Theron sold her penthouse apartment in the Broadway Hollywood Lofts building at 1645 Vine Street at a $1 million loss, sources told Variety.
She only banked $1.75 million for the property she snatched up in 2007 for $2.75 million.
The 2,350-square-foot one-bedroom loft has views of the Capitol Records building.
The building is known for owners with bold-faced names, including Jason Statham, Jack Osbourne and Wilmer Valderrama.
Despite selling at a loss, the oscar-winning actress is not hurting on the real estate front. Theron owns a secluded house in the Hollywood Hills, two Spanish bungalows in West Hollywood, and a Mediterranean villa in the Outpost Estates neighborhood that she picked up in 1998 for $1.65 million.
