“Breaking Bad” producer-director Michelle MacLaren is breaking ties with her Nichols Canyon residence. Or at least trying to.

MacLaren listed her 2,500-square-foot abode for $3.1 million, a cheaper ask than her previous listing price of $3.5 million in late 2014. She’s been trying to part ways since 2011, when she first placed her abode on the rental market, Variety reported.

McLaren, who has directed for “The X-Files” and “Game of Thrones”, bought the home nearly 20 years ago for $730,000.

Designed by California architect Robert Byrd, the three-bedroom, three-bathroom house was built in 1955 on a half acre of land. It is fashioned like a cabin with pine paneling, vaulted ceilings, three brick fireplaces and a “treehouse-like” master bedroom that includes a sitting room and a bathroom with heated floors. It has both city and ocean views.

MacLaren also owns a larger home down the road, which she bought in 2007 for $3.2 million. [Variety] — Cathaleen Chen
