No, that’s not a well-lit nightclub. It’s the Malibu house of architect Richard Landry, which just hit the market for $12 million.

The three-story residence features ambient and artistic lighting that exceptionally stands out at night. Landry bought the property five years ago for $4 million and completely remodeled the interior. The 4,289-square-foot house now features open spaces and a floating glass staircase that connects each floor.

An additional lighting system allows the colors to change from red to blue to purple. With four bedrooms and four bathrooms, the luminous house has views of the ocean on the main floor.

Landry’s listing agent is Chris Cortazzo of Coldwell Banker. The architect has designed homes for celebrities including Michael Bolton and Rod Stewart. [LAT]Cathaleen Chen
