This week’s most eye-popping renderings include a room at the James Hotel in CIM Group‘s Sunset|LaCienega development. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, it will have 286 rooms and is expected to open at the end of the year.

A new rendering shows plans for Stan Kroenke and Stockbridge Capital’s Hollywood Park project that will surround the Los Angeles Rams stadium in Inglewood.  The development will include 3,000 units of housing, 620,000 square feet of retail space, a luxury hotel, and a renovated Hollywood Park Casino on 238 acres of land. The project broke ground in 2014 and is expected to be completed in 2023.

An environmental impact report shows renderings for a townhome project that Clearwater Communities, a Newport Beach-based homebuilder, is planning in El Sereno. The project would have 42 single-family residences on a five-acre site. The townhomes are designed by KTGY.

Renderings from development plans show the vision for Regency Center‘s Culver City Market, an initiative that involves the City of Culver City. The project would combine a traditional market hall, Trader Joe’s and parking structure. It is being designed by JRDV Urban. — Hannah Miet
