Submarket Snapshot: Homes in Mar Vista in Q1 2016

The average home price in Mar Vista increased just over 7 percent in the first quarter of 2016, when compared with the same period last year. It clocked in at $1.34 million, according to a report by Halton Pardee + Partners, formerly Pardee Properties.

The average price per square foot increased by 23 percent to $868 a square foot, though smaller home sales are driving that number up, the report said.

The inventory level of single family homes for sale continues to remain low at 41 homes.
