ABC Studios’ new president is celebrating his promotion by selling his Hancock Park home, The Real Deal has learned.

Patrick Moran, who moved up from an executive vice president position at ABC in September, has listed the property for $7.85 million, more than double the $3.56 million he paid for it in 2014, records show.

After buying the 1920s-era Tudor property on S. Muirfield Road two years ago, Moran brought in designer Rick Pirro to completely renovate it. The pair expanded the kitchen area and brought in an eclectic mix of new furniture and art.

The five-bedroom, seven-bathroom home totals 7,401 square feet and has a great room with French doors, a marble hearth, a formal dining room with wood paneled walls and a custom wine room. Outside, there are flagstone terraces and a pool. Teles Properties has the exclusive listing.

The T.V. exec has a passion for rehabs, and this was his seventh.

“I prefer finding something you can personalize,” he told Architectural Digest earlier this year. “There is something nice about being involved in a creative endeavor that isn’t work related. It’s a way to exercise another part of my brain.”

Moran’s move to sell the property is no surprise. He told AD in June that he might move on post-renovation.

“I’m getting a little restless again,” he said.

At ABC, Moran works with producers such as Shonda Rhimes of “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Scandal.”
