Even the star power of pop singer Rihanna couldn’t help this Pacific Palisades house.
A Rivas Canyon Road property formerly home to the performer came on the market in 2014 for $15 million. Now, it’s finally sold for $11.2 million, according to Curbed.
After taking up residence in this Pacific Palisades pad for only nine months in 2014, the pop star had to move out because of a stalker situation, her agent Lee Mintz told The Real Deal.
Rihanna, repped by Mintz, had signed a one-year lease but was forced to move out early.
The nearly 11,000-square-foot mansion has seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, multiple outdoor and indoor entertainment spaces, a pool with water jets and a full bar.
Rodeo Realty’s Ben Bacal, Jason Peteler and David Ferrugio brokered the deal.
Rihanna’ s problems were just the latest in a long line of housing issues for the star. She sued the former owner of her previous home, the engineer, her agent and the inspection firm after finding leaks. [Curbed] — Cathaleen Chen
