Shout it from “The Hills” — Lauren Conrad, the original darling of Orange County, has listed her Pacific Palisades home for $5.2 million.
The former MTV star is looking for a quick profit, since she bought the 5,900-square-foot bungalow for just $4.4 million in April 2015. Conrad renovated the property over the past year.
The five-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom house is “flawlessly remodeled,” according to marketing materials. That remodeling included a touch of paint. The main house, a Mediterranean-style property with a colonial touch, was tan with a terracotta roof when Conrad bought it. It’s now bright white, as are most of the interiors.
The property also features vaulted ceilings, en suite bedrooms, a dining room with an attached butler’s pantry, a chef’s kitchen and two separate patio areas with an outdoor fireplace. There are two extra rooms that could be converted into offices or media rooms.
Main Beach Realty’s Cary Glenn and Keller Williams’ Linda Ferrari share the listing. Neither could immediately be reached for comment.
Conrad, also author of the “L.A. Candy” series, has an impressive portfolio of properties in Southern California. It includes a duplex penthouse in Beverly Hills that she bought in 2012 for $1.35 million, a Brentwood house acquired in 2013 for $3.65 million, and, of course, a couple of houses in her hometown of Laguna Beach.
