Cushman & Wakefield inks 232,000 square feet in leases during third quarter

Brokerage firm Cushman & Wakefield said its South Florida industrial team signed 232,000 square feet in leases during the third quarter. It also secured a 7.5-acre land lease. All transactions occurred in Broward and Palm Beach Counties, where the market had been stagnant during the first half of the year, the firm said. Most leasing activity took place in ProLogis Park Pompano Beach, a recently constructed, three-building industrial park. Other transactions included VPX Sports, which leased 45,000 square feet at 1600 North Park Drive in Weston and Hospice of Palm Beach County, which leased 22,500 square feet at 300 Northpoint Parkway in West Palm Beach.
