Kmart is shuttering its Royal Palm Beach outpost at 10101 Southern Bouelvard and will lay off all of the 59 employees there. News of the closure comes via a filing of a Workers Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act notice with the state, which said the store’s last day is July 6. Kmart is owned by Sears Holdings. The reason for the closure isn’t clear, as the company did not respond to the South Florida Business Journal’s requests for comment. [SFBJ]
