Greater Fort Lauderdale Realtors to hold rally on Amendment 4 on Saturday

The Greater Fort Lauderdale Realtors will be hosting a rally Saturday in favor of Amendment 4, a ballot measure that would prohibit increases in the assessed value of homestead properties if their fair market value decreases. The rally at GFLR headquarters in Wilton Manors will be led by State Rep. Joe Gibbons and Florida Realtors President Summer Greene. Amendment 4, which will be on the ballot on Nov. 6, would also reduce the limitation on annual assessment increases to non-homestead properties, along with providing an additional homestead exemption. – Alexander Britell
