The former Aventura home of Filene’s Basement and Carl’s Furniture and Artefacto has sold for $18 million to Aqua Partners, a group that includes Jorge Linkewer and Mario Grosfeld, according to the South Florida Business Journal. The two-story 59,000-square-foot building sits on 4.71 acres of water front property at 17651 Biscayne Boulevard. The seller is an Ohio-based-Schottenstein Professional Asset Management Group company, according to public records spotted by the Business Journal.
