California-based Umami Burger will be opening a location in South Beach, Eater reported. The restaurant, which took home the GQ award for burger of the year, will be opening at the former 8 oz. Burger Bar location at 1080 Alton Road. “Miami has a diverse food culture, blending together a lot of different genres but nothing like us,” said Founder Adam Fleischman. “South Beach is going to love our burgers.” [Eater]
