New condo to rise in Coral Gables

The number of new condominium projects in Miami is heading north of 93, as the Merrick Manor tower is now being proposed in Coral Gables, according to a report from brokerage and consultancy Condo Vultures. The project, which would be located between the Merrick Shops ceter and Coral Gables High School in southern Coral Gables, would have 180 units. There are now more than 13,640 new-construction condo units on the way in South Florida, according to Condo Vultures. The project was already in the planning stages in October 2011, according to Coral Gables records. — Alexander Britell
