The $25 million sale of the land for Echo Brickell condos is slated to close tomorrow, exMiami reported.

The developer, Property Markets Group, is buying the parcel at 1451 Brickell Aveue from an undisclosed corporation. The land was last sold in 2008 for $22 million, the website said. At 750 feet, the 60-story tower will be the tallest residential building in Miami. Uruguayan architect Carlos Ott, who also worked on 42-story Miami condo 1100 Millicento, provided the conceptual design.

Construction is set to start early next year, with possible opening in 2017. Most the 190 units have already been sold. Only 50 remained as of April. [exMiami]Mark Maurer
