Kimpton is overseeing an expansion of the hotel to include an 83-room building, rooftop pool and new lobby. Development firm LBL Group owns the hotel.

The hotel is the third operated by Kimpton in Miami-Dade County. The company also runs the Surfcomber on Collins Avenue and the Epic hotel in downtown Miami. [Miami Herald]Eric Kalis
