A mobile home park in Juno Beach is on the verge of being redeveloped into a townhome community.

Town council members unanimously approved the townhome project at the site of Floridian Ocean Park on U.S. 1, the Palm Beach Post reported. The Tequesta-based property owner plans to build Ocean Breeze with a targeted completion in 2015. Each townhome would be about 2,000 square feet and is expected to sell for about $500,000.

The project should cost about $10 million. The owner, Floridian Ocean Park, paid $1.5 million for the land in 2004.

Ocean Breeze would be the second residential project planned in Juno Beach, a small town with only 3,500 full-time residents. Major builder Toll Brothers is developing 29 single-family homes in The Preserve. [Palm Beach Post]Eric Kalis
