PB Board of Realtors exec VP retires

Sherye Sayles, executive vice president of the Palm Beach Board of Realtors, is retiring after 26 years with the organization.

Sayles helped the board expand from a few hundred members to about 900 during her tenure, Palm Beach Daily News reported. Her accomplishments include relocating the board from its original Royal Poinciana Way office into a condo on Royal Palm Way, incorporating Multiple Listing Service technology and launching the Palm Beach Real Estate Guide.

The town’s residential real estate profile has changed notably since Sayles started working for the board, she told the Daily News. Its broker base has skewed younger over the years, and more families are moving to Palm Beach instead of the traditional retirement-age snowbirds. [Palm Beach Daily News] — Eric Kalis
