Miramar call center owner lands new tenant

Univita Health has signed a nearly 92,000-square-foot lease for a Miramar call center most recently occupied by CVS/Caremark.

The company’s long-term lease at the 15800 Southwest 25th Street office facility begins May 1, according to CBRE. Univita plans to consolidate multiple South Florida locations into one central facility. The company is occupying the entire building.

CBRE first vice president Tom O’Loughlin and executive vice president Kevin Clifton represented landlord Dell Corp. of Chicago. Brokers Harry Tangalakis and Larry Genet assisted O’Loughlin and Clifton.

“The building’s existing infrastructure, strong ownership and great location were all seen as positive factors helping to influence the tenant’s decision,” Clifton said in CBRE’s announcement. — Eric Kalis
