Wells Fargo is wrapping up its Florida NeighborhoodLIFT program, after nearly two years.

The program was designed to help communities overcome a high inventory of unsold homes and provided loans and grants to first-time homeowners, according to Miami Today. In total, the program placed over 200 families in homes in Miami-Dade.

“$7.2 million was managed through neighbor work organizations, like Neighborhood Housing Services of South Florida that manages the dollars,” said Leo Toca, Wells Fargo’s community development officer.

Although the program is ending in Florida, it just kicked off in New Orleans and Dallas. [Miami Today]Christopher Cameron
