Workers may break ground on developer Jeff Berkowitz’ 1,000-foot SkyRise Miami tower this month — if a proposal from the Miami City Commission is approved.

The commission hopes to get construction started before height approval from the Federal Aviation Administration expires in June, according to Miami Today.

The planned tower would feature an observation deck, a nightclub and a “bungee jump-like platform.” [Miami Today]Christopher Cameron
