Dr. Maurice Ferre, the former president and CEO of Mako Surgical, a medical device company, made over $22 million when the company was sold last year. Now the executive has picked up a Key Biscayne home for $8.7 million.
Ferre purchased the 3,630-square-foot waterfront home, located at 520 South Mashta Drive from Joseph and Pamela Donner, according to the South Florida Business Journal. The three-bedroom, four-bathroom home last traded in 1992 for $1.8 million.
