A new 124-room Value Place hotel is coming to Davie. The project is the first of 15 new South Florida hotels planned by the Kansas-based chain across the tri-county area, representing a $131 million investment.

Value Place is also the company’s first corporate-owned South Florida hotel, with its other Homestead property operating as a franchise, according to the Sun Sentinel.

The new four-story hotel is located at the intersection of I-595 and Florida’s Turnpike and is expected to open by spring 2015.

“It makes sense for us to start in Davie,” said Value Place Development president David Redfern. “It’s a great location for us with easy highway access while also being close to the local community.” [Sun-Sentinel] Christopher Cameron
