A historic landmark Palm Beach home has hit the market asking $7.95 million.

The 6,229-square-foot, four-bedroom, five-bathroom home was designed by noted society architect Marion Sims Wyeth in 1923 at 14 Golfview Road – a small street that runs between Worth Avenue and the Everglades Golf Course, according to the Palm Beach Daily News.

The house is “synonymous with the Boom Time Era development of the Town of Palm Beach,” reads the 1997 research report prepared before the house was granted landmark protection. The report goes on to list the home’s “distinguishing characteristics such as roughcast stucco, multi-level barrel tile roof and wrought iron ornamentation.”

Ed Curran of Brown Harris Stevens has it the listing. [PBDN] Christopher Cameron
