Viking Developers will put up $336 million for the project, while the city plans to kick in the remaining $39 million. The developers have a 50-year lease to manage the marina, according to the South Florida Business Journal.

When completed, the marina will include new shops, restaurants, a boardwalk promenade and improved facilities. The project is scheduled to be finished by summer 2015. [SFBJ]Christopher Cameron
