Real estate mogul Glenn Straub has filed yet another lawsuit against Wellington over the Big Blue cypress preserve.

Straub alleges that the Wellington-run Acme Improvement District pumped more than 100 million gallons of water into the 91-acre preserve over a 15-day period, which caused flooding on 20 acres of Straub’s Palm Beach Polo and Country Club, according to the Palm Beach Post.

Previously, Straub filed a separate lawsuit against Wellington over who is responsible for the upkeep of the protected area — Straub or the village.

A permit from the South Florida Water Management District mandates water levels in the Big Blue preserve and Straub alleges that Acme is discharging water at levels that exceed the permit. [PBP]Christopher Cameron
