SLS Lux, 450-unit luxury condo and hotel building that will break ground later this year in downtown Miami, has closed $300 million is sales in 10 days as 150 reservations become contracts.

“We’re seeing buyers, especially from Latin America, extremely receptive to the SLS residences and designer suites’ model and style,” Carlos Rosso, president of condominium development at the Related Group, which is developing the building with the Allen Morris Company.

SLS Lux is expected to break ground in the fourth quarter of 2014 near Brickell City Centre. It will feature amenities such as private residential elevators, tennis and fitness center, rooftop pool, wine cellar and cigar room. – Christopher Cameron
