Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa

Under new ownership, the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood will drop its Westin affiliation.

Thayer Lodging Group purchased the hotel for $460 million and plans to rechristen it the Diplomat Resort & Spa under the Hilton brand Curio, the Miami Herald reported. The acquisition was part of a $535.5 million transaction.
