The Architectural Commission has approved the demolition of the two-story garage wing, pool and hardscaping at the former home of the late fashion designer Lilly Pulitzer Rousseau.

New owner Joan Granlund will also remodel the existing main house in the island style and add a new two-story garage wing, tennis court, pool and landscaping, according to the Palm Beach Daily News.

Granlund is the first wife of billionaire Bill Koch. She bought the 1.3-acre property at 710 South County Road in December for $8.2 million. [PBDN] – Christopher Cameron
