A Boca Raton luxury residential builder closed on the $13 million purchase of a lakeside parcel on the site of Dwight Schar’s Casa Apava in Palm Beach.

Casa Apava Lot 3 LLC picked up the 1.2-acre property at 1330 South Ocean Boulevard in a transaction recorded on Monday, according to Palm Beach County records. The company is managed by developer Mark Pulte. No financing was recorded.

The Palm Beach Town Council recently approved Pulte’s plans to build a 16,447-square-foot mansion with a lakefront cabana.

Schar and his wife Martha own Casa Apava, a massive ocean-to-lake estate at 1300 South Ocean Boulevard. Two months ago, they received $20 million for Lot 4 of the 11.4-acre site. The buyer is believed to be Las Vegas resort developer Steve Wynn. — Eric Kalis
