All Aboard Florida has tapped Blanca Commercial Real Estate as its exclusive office leasing agent and CBRE as the exclusive retail leasing firm.

All Aboard Florida’s MiamiCentral will have 3 million square feet of mixed-use space spread over nine acres east of Miami-Dade County’s Government Center, according to GlobeSt.

“As the first new class A office development planned for downtown Miami in years, MiamiCentral will meet growing demand for space among global and local companies,” Tere Blanca, president and CEO of Blanca Commercial, told GlobeSt. “MiamiCentral will appeal to users that value a dynamic urban location offering direct access to high-speed rail service, varied mass transit options and a host of amenities including on-site retail and dining.”

The office component totals nearly 800,000 square feet of class A space and the first two towers are set to open at the end of 2016. [GlobeSt]Christopher Cameron

We need more class “A” buildings in the Downtown core in order to sustain all of the current and future Condo Towers being planned. Also will sustain and create more opportunity for worldwide companies and industries to bring their conventions here to Miami!

We also need an expanded metrorail system.
