William Holly leaves Pointe Group Advisors

Pointe Group Advisors president William Holly left the firm to start his own commercial real estate brokerage.

Holly joined Pointe Group in October 2012 after working as executive managing director at Cushman & Wakefield and president of Holly Real Estate, according to the South Florida Business Journal.

“When you get toward the third and fourth quarter you start planning for next year and I thought about what I love to do and that is focus on brokerage first,” Holly said. “It was an easy, amicable decision.”

Pointe Group, led by founder and CEO Peter Gardner, has not named a new president.

“It has been a privilege to work with William, who is an excellent broker and a good friend,” Gardner said in a statement. “We wish him great success in pursuing new opportunities while still continuing to work together on various partnerships and consulting work.” [South Florida Business Journal] – Christopher Cameron
