Luxury condos to replace Ireland’s Inn

The Related Group is planning to redevelop the iconic Ireland’s Inn on Fort Lauderdale Beach into condos.

The Ireland and Mitchell families will partner with Related to build 170 luxury condominiums with a spa and restaurants, according to the Sun-Sentinel. Sales are expected to kick off by the end of the year.

Andy Mitchell, head of the hotel’s ownership group, told the newspaper they have assembled 15 adjacent parcels. They have also sought input from locals, civic groups and city officials at more than 400 meetings.
