The site of a new charter school in West Palm Beach changed hands in an $11.8 million transaction.

A company tied to Fort Lauderdale-based Red Apple Development took ownership of two properties at 8151 and 8225 Okeechoebee Boulevard in a transaction recorded on Thursday, according to Palm Beach County records. The Renaissance Charter School at Cypress began operating at the 5-acre location this fall.

West Palm Beach-based School Property Development at Oakton Commons transferred ownership to the Red Apple company. Developer Mark Rodberg signed the deed as the selling company’s manager.
