Publix picks up shopping plaza at $2M discount

Publix Super Markets purchased a Royal Palm Beach shopping plaza at a discount.

The Lakeland-based company is already the main tenant in the 80,330-square-foot shopping center, located at 123 State State Road 7, according to the South Florida Business Journal. Publix paid $10.3 million to acquire the property from ATMF Royal Palms, an affiliate of Birmingham, Mich.-based M.D. Gorge & Co.

Built in 2004, the 16.2-acre shopping center was purchased by ATMF in 2005 for $12.62 million. [South Florida Business Journal] – Christopher Cameron
