Miami office building faces second foreclosure suit

An office building in Miami-Dade has been served with a second foreclosure lawsuit.

In Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood, Hibiscus Properties and managing member Nancy Babe are facing their second foreclosure lawsuit in three years, according to a report. Beneficial Funding Corp. filed the lawsuit over a three-story, 51,100-square-foot office building located at 42 Northwest 27th Avenue.

A prior lawsuit filed in 2012 by JGB Bank was resolved in July, the South Florida Business Journal reported. That loan was recently sold to Miami-based Beneficial Funding. [South Florida Business Journal] – Chris Guanche
