ONE Sotheby’s expands in Aventura with new office

ONE Sotheby’s International Realty has just opened a new office in Aventura, as it targets the market for growth, particularly among international buyers.

Daniel de la Vega, ONE Sotheby’s president, told The Real Deal that the new 2,500-square-foot office, at 18851 NE 29th Avenue, replaces a smaller space the firm previously occupied. The new office, within the UBS Financial Services building, will accommodate the firm’s 30 Aventura agents, with enough room to double that number, he said.

Overall, ONE Sotheby’s has nine offices in South Florida, with more than 400 agents.

“We have grown tremendously,” de la Vega said. “And it’s an exciting market for us, so we have been able to expand to a greater location to create a better atmosphere for our existing agents and for agents we will recruit into that office.”

Aventura is also expanding with new condo projects. ONE Sotheby’s served as the exclusive agents for Bellini Williams Island. De la Vega said the office will continue to serve new developments.

“Aventura is a thriving market,” de la Vega said. “It’s an already established market, but there is room for growth. It is also an international market, A lot of our international buyers are buying in Aventura.”
