Carlos Ferreira de Melo, president of Melo Development, bought a double-condo unit in Miami Beach’s Blue Diamond tower recently.
The 3,630-square-foot property on the 34th floor sold for $3.79 million, property records show — the most for a unit in a building this real estate cycle, the Daily Business Review reported. It last sold for $2.5 million in 2014.
The Melos, from Argentina, have a history with Blue Diamond, according to the Daily Business Review. Jose Luis Melo bought a unit in 2003 and Martin Melo has a unit on the 29th floor.
