Real estate brokers, developers and guests attended a preview party for the Gale Boutique Hotel & Residences Fort Lauderdale last week at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach’s S3 Restaurant.

The project, set to open in late 2016, is a joint venture between Miami-based real estate development firm Newgard Development Group and Fort Lauderdale’s Merrimac Ventures. The 96-room hotel and adjacent 128-unit luxury condo tower, at 2900 Riomar Street, will incorporate design elements from Gale South Beach.

Newgard Realty is marketing and selling the units, priced from $385,000.

Amenities will include a rooftop sky desk, private lobby, fitness center and spa, concierge service, resort-style pools and full privileges at the Gale Hotel and at Menin Hospitality’s properties across the country. The property will have a rental program as well. Units will range in size from 780 square feet to nearly 2,000 square feet. — Katherine Kallergis
