An oceanfront mansion in Manalapan sold recently for $15 million, The Real Deal has learned.

Located at 1000 South Ocean Boulevard, the home was built in 1925 and sits on a 2.2-acre lot, which stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to the westward inlet.

Pascal Liguori and William Koch III of Premier Real Estate Properties listed the property.

The 10,527-square-foot estate has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and a separate guest home staff quarters.

It was listed in June for $18.5 million, according to the MLS. The deed was recorded on Tuesday, according to Palm Beach County records.

The sellers, which include Robert Friedman, George Hirschhorn and Henry Gladstone, are members of the Robert P. Strauss Trust. They sold the property to Jackson Real Estate Partners, which has ties to West Palm Beach-based Tremont Partners.

“The owner passed some years ago,” Liguori told TRD “[The trust] has settled the estate.”

Manalapan has been a hot market for home sales recently, with the total volume of sales nearly doubling since 2013. And with the limited supply of homes or vacant lots for building in the area, real estate agents expect prices and demand will keep growing.

Billionaire Jeff Greene just made a purchase in the area, and celebrities like Billy Joel have also reportedly bought into the ritzy community.
