TRD Panel: Can we count on foreign investors? VIDEO

Can South Florida continue to expect a heavy presence from international buyers? That question has been a topic of hot debate among real estate professionals, and one that was discussed thoroughly during the foreign investment panel of The Real Deal‘s Broward Real Estate Forum & Showcase.

The panel touched on why buyers are moving their families to Miami, instead of just investing here, and why there is rising interest in South Florida from countries like China.

TRD’s publisher Amir Korangy moderated the panel, which was made up of four industry icons: David Martin, president and founder of Terra Group; Carlos Melo, principal of the Melo Group; Philip Spiegelman, principal of ISG; and Dora Puig, principal of Luxe Living Realty.

The forum was held on April 23 at the Design Center of the Americas in Dania. Attendees, numbering more than 2,000, socialized and viewed displays for the newest luxury developments in Broward County.
