PHOTOS: On the scene at YOO at Metropica’s sales gallery

YOO at Metropica, the first of eight towers at the master-planned Metropica community, hosted an event at its sales gallery recently for brokers and prospective buyers.

ONE Sotheby’s International Realty is the exclusive sales and marketing firm for the tower, which was selling an average of one unit a day, developers said in July.

Trillist is partnering with YOO Studio for the 28-story condo building, which will have 263 luxury units ranging in size from 740 to 1,300 square feet. It will also feature 10 penthouses averaging 1,900 square feet.

Joseph Kavana of K Group Holdings is developing the 4-million-square-foot community, complete with a central park, health and wellness center, beach club and recreational amenities. Kavana has said that the western side of both Broward and Miami-Dade is ripe for retail development. – Katherine Kallergis and Sean Stewart-Muniz
