PHOTOS: On the scene at 1 Hotel’s Sports Illustrated party

The Penthouse Residences at 1 Hotel & Homes South Beach hosted a cocktail party with Sports Illustrated swimsuit models and real estate agents following the release of the magazine’s 2016 swimsuit issue.

Douglas Elliman Development Marketing is leading sales and marketing for the 1 Penthouse Collection, a series of 25 units at 1 Hotel & Homes, which opened last year. When the collection launched in November, residences were priced from $3.5 million to $20 million. They range from $1,815 square feet to 4,207 square feet.

Starwood Capital Group, led by Barry Sternlicht, and LeFrak developed 1 Hotel & Homes on the site of the former Gansevoort Hotel at 2341 and 2399 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach. The property includes three restaurants by celebrity chef Tom Colicchio, the hotel’s signature beachcraft, lobby lounge bar Tom on Collins, and poolside restaurant the Sand Box; as well as STK by the One Group.

The hotel component also includes four outdoor swimming pools, 57 cabanas and daybeds, and access to Tesla cars for guests traveling within a three-mile radius. – Katherine Kallergis and Sean Stewart-Muniz
