Miami-based architecture firm Nichols, Brosch, Wurst, Wolfe & Associates (NBWW) expanded into Latin America through a strategic alliance with a Costa Rican firm.

NBWW formed a strategic alliance with Alberto Reifer & Arquitectos, a boutique firm based in San Jose, Costa Rica. The allied firms’ first project together will be designing a renovation of the Banco Popular headquarters in San Jose. The commission for the project resulted from a national request for proposals that attracted several international design firms.

Igor Reyes, partner at NBWW, said in a press release that his firm “made the decision to establish operations in Latin America in order to further serve our clients, especially those in the hospitality industry who aspire to develop projects in that region, but desire design services that align with traditional U.S. methods.” – Mike Seemuth
