The week in luxury: A map of Miami-Dade’s priciest condo sales

It looks like Passover week wasn’t going to stop Miami-Dade County’s condo market from booming. Sales volume practically doubled from the previous week, with more than $80 million worth of condos trading in Miami-Dade from April 24 to April 30.

And while the county-wide numbers improved considerably, so did last week’s list of top 10 priciest deals.

The week was led with a record-breaking sale at the flashy St. Regis Bal Harbour condo complex. Unit 2401 in the north tower traded for $9.4 million after spending 239 days on the market. Mantas Kudrinas of Carrington Real Estate Services had the listing for this ocean-front condo, which boasts three bedrooms and three full baths. Among its features: smart home systems, automatic blinds and custom modern finishes. Its closing price breaks down to $2,420 per square foot.

Not far behind that top sale was a trio of units at the newly built Palazzo Del Sol tower on exclusive Fisher Island. The developer sold units 7025, 7021 and 7024 at the building for $8.25 million, $7.897 million and $7.434 million, respectively.

Outside of those top four deals, the remaining six of last week’s priciest condo closings ranged from $4.25 million to $1.25 million. This is the first time in several weeks that all top 10 deals have topped $1 million.

Miami-Dade saw a total of 156 condo sales last week for $83.757 million. That’s a huge improvement from the 133 sales and $45 million volume reached during the previous week. Average prices were $536,904 per unit and $300 per square foot.
