The Brickell Scoop, founded by ONE Sotheby’s International Realty’s brokers Elliot Machado and Joseph Zichelle, hosted its monthly Brickellite “meet-up” at Coya in April.

The group said it aims to bringing together Miami professionals to mix and mingle over cocktails and bites within a traditional Mediterranean ambiance. More than 140 attended the April networker, according to a press release.

Coya is backed by some of the same investors as Zuma. The 8,000-square-foot restaurant, which includes a bar, restaurant and outside terrace, as well as a private club with private terrace, opened in March at 999 Brickell Avenue.
