On the scene: Haute Residence luxury real estate event: PHOTOS

Haute Residence hosted its annual Miami Luxury Real Estate & Design Summit at 1 Hotel & Homes in Miami Beach last Friday, bringing together about 200 local power players.

The event featured four panels: “The Next Generation of Power,” “Power Brokers,” “Visionary Developers” and “Visionaries in Design.” Haute Residence also gave awards to Richard LeFrak, Jorge Perez, and Piero Lissoni during the day-long affair.

“The Next Generation of Power” panel, moderated by Daniel de la Vega of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, included Senada Adzem and Oren Alexander, both of Douglas Elliman; Julian Cohen of the Julian Cohen Group at Compass; Danny Hertzberg of The Jills at Coldwell Baker; Tony Rodriguez of Prestige Realty Group; and Nathan Zeder of EWM Realty International.

The “Power Brokers” panel featured Alicia Cervera of Cervera Real Estate; Nelson Gonzalez of EWM Realty International; Rex Hamilton of Rex Hamilton Corporation; Dora Puig of Luxe Living Realty; Jay Parker of Douglas Elliman; Phil Spiegelman of International Sales Group; Jorge Uribe of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty; and Monica Venegas of Venegas International Group.

The third panel included Miami’s top developers: Ugo Colombo of CMC Group; Edgardo Defortuna of Fortune International Group; Gil Dezer of Dezer Development; Camille Douglas of Lefrak Organization; Russell Galbut of Crescent Heights; and Carlos Rosso of the Related Group.

Iran Issa Khan moderated the final discussion, which included Jeremy Gauger of Arquitectonica; Diane Paparo of Diane Paparo Associates; Sam Robin of Sam Robin Inc.; Italian architect and designer Piero Lissoni of Lissoni Associati; and Marita Stavrou of Marita Stavrou Inc. — Ina Cordle and Sean Stewart-Muniz
